THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY for vendors. The project is "Hydraulic Hoist Cylinder for the Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project, North Pole, Alaska." OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS NOTICE.


DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The outlet works at the Moose Creek Dam require hydraulic cylinders to operate the vertical control gates. This contract is for procurement of one (1) replacement hydraulic cylinder. The contractor shall furnish one (1) replicated cylinder per attached drawing specifications to the Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project site. Installation of the cylinder is not required.


The resulting contract will be firm fixed price. Estimated award date is December 2016.
If this contract action is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs shall be borne by the offeror. All offerors are advised that they must be registered in System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for a federal contract award. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their proposal in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award.


The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 333995, which has a size standard of 750 Employees. Interested vendors are requested to respond to the primary point of contact by e-mail with the following information:


1. Company Name, Address and DUNS number. Indicate if the company has an active registration in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).
