HYDRAULIC CRANE RENTALS AT NWS EARLE, COLTS NECK NJ
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses that rent hydraulic truck cranes with operators. Your responses to the information requested will assist the government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.

NWS Earle, Colts Neck NJ is seeking qualified business concerns that rent hydraulic truck cranes with operators to assist with port /ship services. Crane sizes can range from 70 Ton up to 250 Ton with various weight, boom and radius capacities. The place of performance will be at the Leonardo Location (the pier).
Cranes will be required to load/unload munitions and /or supplies, drop and lift fenders, connect/disconnect ship utilities and equipment and occasionally will be required to perform lifts to facilitate maintenance to the pier. Crane rental is often contingent upon weather conditions and rental may be rescheduled with a little as one (1) daysb notice, including weekends and holidays. Agility of schedule and a strict safety standard are imperative.

Businesses are invited to submit capability statements that substantiate their experience and qualifications in performing the above support services within 30 days from the date of this Sources Sought Notice. Interested firms must provide information detailing experience in providing similar services that includes client name, contract number, performance period, dollar value, specific services and a point of contact.
