The project will provide the Agency with direct, easy access to employee and position information. This information, within required security constraints, can in turn be used in a flexible manner to generate reports, provide ad-hoc reporting options, provide ability for in-depth analysis and also be available to key staff within various business units. Developing a single source of information will allow business users to focus on data analysis rather than data compiling, resulting in a more timely, consistent and efficient process. The improved access for business users to this information will allow IT staff to focus efforts on system enhancements and support instead of report creation.
