Huey Road Best Management Practice (BMP) Standards Project, Flathead National Forest
The project consists of upgrading the following roads to current Best Management Practice (BMP) standards: No. 2898, No. 2957, No. 5228, No. 9549, No. 10138, No. 10140, No. 10141, No. 10142, No. 10666, No. 10674, and No. 10676. The major items of work include: brushing / clearing and grubbing; reconditioning road surfaces for drainage; corrugated steel pipe replacements / new installations; construction and reconstruction of road surface drain dips; culvert inlet / outlet cleaning; and seeding, fertilizing, and mulching.
This project will be advertised as a performance-based commercial item written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
This requirement is being solicited as a firm fixed-price Request for Quote (RFQ). The contract shall be completed by October 31, 2014.
Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, July 11, 2014. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 18, 2014, and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
