Housing Market Study/ Office of Neighborhood Services
The City wishes to engage an outside consulting firm to conduct a Housing Market Study that reviews current market conditions and provides comparative data to the study conducted in 2002. Concurrent with this work, the Division of Neighborhoods and Housing will solicit input from various community stakeholders by formulating a housing policy Advisory Council whose responsibility it will be to make recommendations for housing policy based on the data received in this Market Study.
The Market Study is essential to establish a baseline measure for future housing-related activities including the planning, development and implementation of housing strategies, programs and initiatives. The Market Study will also be a critical tool in the ongoing implementation and updating of the City’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan.
