THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES - THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND INFORMATION SUBMITTED WILL BE USED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY.

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is the Nation's federal health sciences university and is committed to excellence in military medicine and public health during peace and war. We provide the Nation with health professionals dedicated to career service in the Department of Defense and the United States Public Health Service and with scientists who serve the common good. We serve the uniformed services and the Nation as an outstanding academic health sciences center with a worldwide perspective for education, research, service, and consultation; we are unique in relating these activities to military medicine, disaster medicine, and military medical readiness. USU is located in Bethesda, MD on the grounds of the Naval Support Activity Bethesda.

USU has a requirement for services of a Contract Research Organization - for the Housing, Care and Support of Nonhuman Primate Biomedical Research


See attached DRAFT statement of work (SOW). Potential offerors responding to this RFI are highly encouraged to review the attached DRAFT SOW and provide comments and feedback. The attached document is a Word document and we request offerors use the comments feature to provide their feedback.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

Potential offerors responding to this RFI must provide the following information:

•Feedback on the SOW (Use Comments Capability in Word):
o    Which sections require clarification?
o    What questions do you have based on the current SOW?
o    What additional information needs to be addressed in the SOW?

•    Corporate Experience - Provide a summary on your corporate experience in providing the requested services. (Page limitation: 3 pages)

•    Past Performance - Provide two (2) customer references that you provided similar services for within the last three (3) years, with a minimum of one year of performance. (Page limitation: 4 pages). At a minimum, include the following information:

•    Business/Agency Name
o    POC - Name, title, telephone number and email address
o    Contract Number
o    Contract Amount
o    Performance Period
o    Description of Services Provided and how they are Comparable to the Requested Services in the Attached DRAFT SOW.


Please provide the following with your submission:
1.    Company name and address
2.    DUNS Number
3.    Socio-Economic Status (Small, SDVOSB, etc.) - Socio-economic status will be verified in SAM.gov.
4.    Point of Contact (Name, Email and Phone Number)


All responses are due 30 June 2017 and must be emailed to carolyn.randolph@usuhs.edu. You will receive confirmation that your submission was received by COB 5 July. If you do not receive confirmation, please follow up with the contract specialist.
