Hotel Building Demolition
The City will be receiving bids for the demolition and clearance of one (1) hotel building. Demolition to include: Entire structure down to the concrete slab (slab is to remain). Swimming pool walls and floor must be removed and the resulting hole filled with compactable fill material. Any asbestos abatement must be done by a properly licensed asbestos contractor/supervisor. Performing a wet haul method for asbestos in the area where the roof/ceiling has caved in. Removal of all debris from the property. Grade property for proper drainage and reseed. Extreme caution must be exercised not to damage adjacent private property, sidewalks, curb and gutters, street surfaces, street lights and signs, etc.
