Hotel / Lodging - Garmisch, Germany
This is a Request for Information only notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the interest, availability and capability of qualified businesses in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany area which can provide for extended-stay hotel / lodging accommodations for visitors participating in programs at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (GCMC) located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Responses to this information request will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
CAPABILITY STATEMENT / INFORMATION SOUGHT -
Respondents should email their information to steven.g.dyer3.civ@mail.mil and nathan.r.pauly2.civ@mail.mil on or before January 29, 2019, 10:00 Hours Eastern Standard Time.
The Government requests interested businesses provide a one-page capability statement in PDF format identifying the number of rooms your facility provides. In addition, please state whether or not each room that your facility provides has the below listed accommodations and amenities. The minimum accommodations and amenities each room needs to include are the following:
a. Furniture (Minimum of one Single or Double Bed, Nightstand, In-Room Writing Desk with Lighting, Wardrobe / Schrank for storage of clothing and a Trash Receptacle)
b. Television
c. Refrigerator
d. Microwave
e. Eating Dishware (Eating utensils, plate, bowl, coffee cup and plate, drinking glass)
f. Bath Linens (1 Bath Towel, 1 Hand Towel, 1 Wash Cloth, 1 Bath Mat for use outside of the shower)
g. Clothing Iron and Board
h. In-Room Safe for securing valuables
i. Alarm Clock
j. Hair Dryer
k. Soap, Shampoo, Toilet Paper and Tissues
l. Wi-Fi [inclusive with room rate]
In addition, please include a response to the following items / questions:
1. What is the lead-time required to guarantee a room.
2. What is your business' cancellation policy.
3. What is your published rack rate for a single room?*
4. What is your published rack rate for a double room?*
• (If you have a list of published rates for all of your room types, please submit this with your response)
5. Please describe your security operations:
a. How are guests' identity and information secured?
b. How are sleeping rooms accessed; physical key with room number shown or electronic card without identifying the room number?
c. How are guests' safety provided for throughout the property?
d. What are the operating hours of working Staff personnel? Is the front desk staffed 24 hours per day?
6. What other amenities / accommodations does your property provide aside from the minimum the Government has listed?

It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
