Hot Water Boiler
The USDA-ARS Research Location in Mandan, ND is in need of a hot water boiler. Please see attached RFQ & Specifications for futher details.
SUMMARY
A. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work to remove existing boiler and install gas-fired hot water boiler in Building 1.
B. Includes the removal of the existing 1966 PEERLESS NO. 210-7-W FIRETUBE boiler. Serial # 210-1975. The BTU rating is 756,200 BTU/HR. It is located in the Bldg#1 lower level mechanical room.
C. Includes furnishing, installing, and start-up operation of a new boiler larger than the existing boiler. The new boiler will have an output of approximately 1,220,000 BTU/HR. The new boiler shall be a vertical copper fin-tube non-condensing hot water boiler for indoor space-heating application.
