The Department of Veteran s Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, 1 VA Center (90C), Augusta, Maine 04330 will be soliciting will be posting a request for quotation (RFQ) on FBO on or about August 10, 2018 for Contract Emergency Residential Services (CERS) in the Bedford, MA area for beneficiaries of services of the Bedford VA Medical Center under NAICS Code 624221. The RFQ will be will be unrestricted and shall be conducted in accordance with FAR 13 procedures. The VA intends to award a single, firm fixed-price purchase order to the successful offeror.
The contractor shall provide bed space, housing, meals and therapeutic case management services for 12 homeless Veterans in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The apparent successful offeror must successfully pass an on-site pre-award inspection by specified VA officials prior to and as a condition of award, unless that requirement is waived by Government due to facility already having a satisfactory annual inspection on file. A copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), initial inspection checklist, past performance worksheet, and the applicable wage determination will be posted with the RFQ. The period of performance shall be one base year starting September 27, 2018 to September 26, 2019. An additional four, one-year option periods will be included to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government contracting officer.
