Homeless Debris Removal
The work will consist of the removal of all materials left behind by vagrants and/or transients on State highways, freeways, property and or rights of way. This shall include the cleanup of all debris, furniture, clothing, bio-waste and all other articles particular to these sites including removal, transport and disposal of materials. It is anticipated that this Agreement will have approximately two year duration.
The Contractor shall conform to all Federal, State, and local regulations pertaining to lawful management and hauling of bio-waste material to a licensed disposal site or treatment facility licensed by CAL-EPA, Department of Toxic Substances Control. In addition, Contractor must have proper licenses and permits to haul and handle bio-waste materials.
All service shall be charged at the contracted bid rate. This contract requires prevailing wages. Insurance is required. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) program participation is required. When requesting bid package, please refer to Contract No. 11A1719.
