NOTICE: THIS RFP VA247-17-R-0167 REPLACES PREVIOUS NOTICE FOR VA247-16-R-0590
SCOPE:
Home Medical Equipment (HME) The purpose of this requirement is to provide VA prescribed government-owned HME to patients of the Department of Veterans Affairs at their residences. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, supervision, training, and equipment to assemble, deliver, pick-up, clean, repair, and store HME equipment to include patient education.
The performance period will consist of one base period and 4 one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
This requirement is being set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 621610, Home Health Services, and the size standard is $15.0 million. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Priced, contract in May 2017.
As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the VA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various proposal documents, statement of work, and forms, will only be available for download at no charge at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) on March 10, 2017with a due date to be specified in the solicitation. No other site shall be used to obtain these documents.
NOTICE TO OFFERORS: THE RFP DOCUMENTS INCLUDED AS ATTACHMENTS TO THIS NOTICE SHALL BE USED TO PREPARE THE PROPOSAL.
All interested offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. An Offeror s List WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the offeror s responsibility to register at the FEDBIZOpps website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all proposal documents and acknowledge any amendments, and should revisit the FBO website periodically to check for any modifications to this notice, updates, or amendments without further notice from the VA.
