The Department is soliciting bids from vendors with the capabilities and qualifications to complete the design, development, and implementation of a new map-based information system and historic preservation internet portal, including the conversion and migration of extensive legacy data. This is the second time we have gone out for bids as it has been changed. The new system is to replace 3 old systems into one new system so that OPRHP can leverage its substantial historic properties inventory by significantly enhancing its existing capabilities -- greatly improving data entry, retrieval, maintenance, accessibility, and reporting functionality. NOTE: Aside from a small pilot project to enable development of data conversion/migration standards and quality assurance testing, the indexing and scanning portion of this contract will be on a separate proposal.
