It is the purpose of this bid to obtain prices, F.O.B. delivered for highway salt for use by the Department.

PRICES BID SHALL BE FOR THE ENTIRE CONTRACT PERIOD BEGINNING FROM DATE OF AWARD THROUGH MAY 31, 2011.

Solid Chemical De-Icers are a combination of complex chlorides and performance enhancing minerals containing a maximum of 3 percent total moisture and is treated with an anti-caking agent to keep stockpiles free flowing. Product bid shall be Pink to Red in color to aid application and enhance visibility on snow and ice.
