Highway Redevelopment Study
County intends to conduct a public design charrette, which will result in a buildable "framework" plan for the redevelopment area, as recommended in Phase One. During the charrette, County will undertake the detailed, integrated (land and transportation) planning and design work necessary to produce the buildable redevelopment plan. Effective pre-charrette work will be critical to the success of the charrette. The contractor selected for this project will build on the foundation created in Phase One, continuing the pre-charrette work. The scope of the present project does not include conducting a charrette.
The objectives of this project phase are:
Refine and test the transportation concepts from Phase One.
Engage key stakeholders.
Prepare reliable base data.
