Modern computational chemistry has evolved into a level where microscopic details of chemical and
biological processes can be investigated on a routine basis. In particular, ab initio molecular dynamics in conjunction with high-performance computing (HPC) platform allows simulations for chemical bond breaking and forming events and has enormous potential to advance material science, nanotechnology, catalysis, and many more.
