Procurement of Control Tower Escape System
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4661-18-Q-0048.
2. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96 effective 06 Nov 2017, DFARS DPN 20171228 effective 28 Dec 2017, and AFFARS AFAC 2017-1003 effective 03 Oct 2017.
3. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 332323 - Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 5660, Fencing, Fences, Gates and Components. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is 500 EMP.

7. A mandatory preproposal conference/site visit will be held Tuesday, 17 April 2018, at 10:00 P.M. (CST) at Dyess AFB, TX. Notice of intent to attend mandatory site visit must be received NLT 11 April 2018, at 2:00 P.M. (CST).
8. All questions pertaining to this requirement must be submitted on the question form (see attachments) and received no later than 17 Apr 2018, 2:00 P.M. (CST). Answers will be posted no later than 18 Apr 2018, 2:00 P.M. (CST).
9. Deadline for receipt of offers: 23 Apr 2018, 2:00 P.M. (CST).
10. Government intends to post further specifications at a later time.
