High Pressure Homogenizer
The successful bidder will provide, in accordance with this statement of work, technical specifications and the contract clauses and provisions; batch processing equipment for homogenizing aqueous cellulosic nanomaterial suspensions. The equipment will include motors, high-pressure pumping system, homogenizing valve, lubrication and cooling systems, as well as system monitoring and control mechanisms for equipment protection and operator safety minus any plumbing or electrical requirements to make the system work. System will include spare parts that are considered maintenance or wear items for a 12-month period of regular operation (i.e., 1000 operating hours) within the equipment specifications. The system will include any tools needed to perform regular maintenance and operational tuning of the homogenizer. Technical specifications are described below. All equipment must be delivered no later than 180 calendar days after contract award. All bids will be F.O.B. destination. The exact location for the items to be delivered on the Forest Products Laboratory campus will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative prior to shipping. All bids must include on-site direction for assembly/installation, as well as on-site commissioning and operational training.
