Hemodialysis/Apheresis Services
The Robley Rex VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY has a requirement for services to provide hemodialysis, sustained low efficiency dialysis (SLED) and apheresis treatments to inpatients at the Robley Rex VAMC upon request of VA staff nephrologists. The treatments will be provided in accordance with the VA physician s orders. In carrying out its responsibilities for hemodialysis and apheresis services, the contractor shall provide all appropriate equipment, including mobile reverse osmosis, apheresis, and peritoneal dialysis machines. The equipment must be safe, effective, and reliable, and shall be maintained by the contractor according to manufacturer s expectations. For sustained low efficiency dialysis services, the Robley Rex VA Medical Center will provide appropriate equipment and supplies. The contract period will be for one (1) year from the date of contract award, with four (4) one-year renewal options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. Solicitation Number VA-249-17-R-0077 will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 15 on or about March 22, 2017. NAICS Code 621492 applies with a size standard of $38.5M. This acquisition will be issued as unrestricted.
