The Hemi-Cap Arthroplasty is doctor referred for these patients because the resurfacing and reconstruction of a painful and severely disabled shoulder joint resulting from severe arthritis and avascular necrosis. Metro Medical implants were chosen for these patients because this system prevents further damage to the joint and the end result of this procedure permits better function of the shoulder and upper extremity in order to improve the quality of life for a beneficiary with an active lifestyle.
