Helicopter Operations Surveillance System (HOSS) Amphibious Low Light Surveillance System (ALLSS)
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Kongsberg Maritime of Lynwood, WA for the procurement of a Helicopter Operations Surveillance System (HOSS) Amphibious Low Light Surveillance System (ALLSS) from Kongsberg Maritime Ltd. The ALLSS ship set is being procured for the installation on the LSD 48 USS Ashland.
This procurement is not a small business set-aside. The NAVAIR Office of Small Business Programs concurs. The NAICS code is 334310.
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not possess rights to the data to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
