Heating and Diesel Fuels
The Communities are inviting bids for the supply of an
estimated 1,307,745 gallons of fuel oils for the initial contract period. The potential life of an
agreement will be three (3) years. A general scope of work for this project is as follows:
2.1 INTENT:
The intent of these Specifications is to obtain #2 oil, and premium ultra low sulfur Diesel fuels
meeting or exceeding the specifications of A.S.T.M., Local, State, and Federal requirements.
Proposals are requested for ultra low sulfur Diesel fuel, and #2 Heating Oil for the contract period
stated in the invitation to bid. The Communities have
requested a price quote for bio-diesel fuel (B5) and (B20). This contract may include an option for
two (2) additional one (1) year extensions, at the discretion of the Cooperative. If permitted by
individual Town Charters, price increases are to be negotiated thirty days prior to, and will take
effect on the contract anniversaries.
