Heart/Liver Transplant Patient Transportation
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard in Richmond, VA 23249 will be soliciting offers for Heart/Liver Transplant Patient Transportation Services. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, drivers, vehicles, insurance, vehicle maintenance, fuel and supervision of qualified personnel to provide an on-call transportation service in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-1174 will be issued on or about June 12, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 485991 Special Needs Transportation with a Small Business Size Standard of $15 million. The classification code is V999. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) Set-Aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
