Healthcare Notification System
The Kansas City region is served by 37 hospitals. In addition, MARC provides support to hospitals in Missouri in a 14-county area outside of the Kansas City region. all of these hospitals require the capability to notify their staff and volunteers in the event of a health care emergency. The region‟s local hospitals and other first responders are interested in the selection of a team notification system to enable individual organizations (such as a single hospital) or multiple organizations to notify their personnel and volunteers in the event of a major incident. The system to be selected must allow for easy use by non-technicians; be cost-effective in its acquisition and on-going use; integrate with existing software in use throughout the region; and allow for security and redundancy in operations.
