The California Department of Mental Health (DMH), California Department of Developmental Services (DDS), California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), California Department of Veteran Affairs (CDVA), California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and California Department of Public Health (CDPH) have current high vacancy rates in the healthcare and medical classifications. In order to address these staffing shortages, the Department of Personnel Administration (DPA) is soliciting proposals from experienced healthcare recruiters to assist these departments in recruiting qualified healthcare professionals for vacant medical, mental health, and/or dental positions within these departments. To address the ongoing issue of vacancies in these departments and across the healthcare industry, DPA expects new and innovative strategies to be highlighted and incorporated into submitted proposals.
