Health and Medical Insurance for Locally Employed Staff
The requirement is for the provision of health insurance services to locally hired employees of the U.S. Mission in Gaborone, Botswana. The estimated number of employees is 204 employees with approximately 245 eligible dependents eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government.
All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps. The response date in this synopsis is not a firm date. Please see the RFP for the actual date.
The Government is planning a pre-solicitation conference, which will be scheduled in the solicitation.
All contractors must register in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are therefore encouraged to register prior to submission of quotations/proposals.
