U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey will issue a solicitation for health insurance (Global Medical Coverage) services for its local employees in Turkey. This service will serve the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Istanbul Consulate General and the Adana Consulate. Service descriptions and estimated quantities will be provided within the RFP. The estimated number of employees is 760 with approximately 825 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The requirements may change depending on enrollment and funding availability in forthcoming periods. The performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in July, 2018.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
