THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to solicit proposals to provide:

Requests for Proposals(RFP) for the Headquarters Rehab and Repair consisting of providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary to result in the rehabilitation of all historic wood windows, installation of new half round gutters and downspouts, replacement of the aluminum storm doors, and fabrication and installation new wood storm windows and hardware. The project will also include the repairing, scraping, and painting of the historic cedar shake siding, handrails, steps, wood deck columns, front porch deck and ceiling, cement foundation wall, exterior wood doors, lattice work, crown molding, fascia and soffit. Window rehab will include repairs to all window components, painting and installation of storm windows. Siding and work will include necessary repairs and replacement of damaged siding, caking and painting. Demolition work will include removal of old electrical mass, unused lighting and conduit, removal of attic powered vent, and removal of red strobe light on front of the building at the Sandpoint Park Headquarters located in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
