The Head Rotary Wing, Main, is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1615-312, revision date: 07/09/2010, is adequate to support the overhaul of the Gearbox Assembly, AI; however, because this item is a Critical Safety Item (CSI), overhaul can only be performed by the approved sources. Currently the only known approved sources for the overhaul data for the Head Rotary Wing, Main, are The Boeing Company (CAGE: 8V613), Professional Aircraft Accessories (CAGE: 08XL0), PCX Aerostructures (CAGE: 82001) and AAR Aircraft Component Services (CAGE: 3Y015). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures.
