SOURCES SOUGHT FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR FORT WAINWRIGHT, ALASKA

THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine the potential firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated.
The 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office Fort Wainwright Alaska, is seeking information on sources to provide all labor, supervision, management, Environmental compliance audits, materials, equipment tools and transportation to perform hazardous waste management services and environmental subject matter expert training in compliance with all applicable State and Federal environmental laws for Fort Wainwright, AK, to include the Yukon Training Area, Tanana Flats Training Area, Donnelly Training Areas East and West (including Bolio Lake), Black Rapids Training Area, and Seward Army Recreation center in Seward, Alaska. It is anticipated that if awarded, the contract will be for a base plus one option year.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code contemplated for this service is 562112, Hazardous Waste Collection Services, with a size standard of $38.5 M, however respondents may identify other potential NAICS codes and the reasoning to support the recommendation. This notice is not designed to discourage competition from any business interested in this requirement. Since the current capabilities must be confirmed, all eligible large and small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought notice. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought survey. If and when a solicitation is issued it will be posted on www.fedbizops.gov. It is the respondent's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation.


INFORMATION REQUESTED TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT:


It is requested that interested businesses submit the completed market research questionnaire (attached) to this contracting office (no more than 6 pages in length, single spaced, and 12-point font minimum). The market research questionnaire shall be sent via email to Anthony Maes, Contract Specialist, anthony.p.maes.civ@mail.mil.
