Hazardous Waste Abatement from Aircraft Blade Shop

The contractor will perform all tasks necessary to clean the Rotor Blade Shop IAW German law BGR 128, DGUV 101-004, TRGS 524 ensuring any hazardous chromate dust is completely out of the structure.

a. Complete cleaning of Aircraft Rotor Blade Repair building on Storck Barracks, Illesheim of all chromate dust and hazardous materials, IAW BGR 128/ DGUV 101-004/ TRGS 524.
b. Aircraft Rotor Blade Repair bldg. will be vacuumed and damp wiped to including all fixtures, surfaces, equipment, stairwells, mezzanine and basements. Equipment includes all lights, overhead cranes, and toolboxes.
c. The building will be fogged at the end in order to catch the final 2% of remaining dust in the air.
d. Contractor will ensure corrosion preventative measures are used in regards to all equipment and surfaces.
e. Contractor must provide all own equipment to accomplish the task.
f. Contractor must provide and entry / exit point to the building that allows personnel to change clothes prior to and after work.
g. Contractor must provide written certification IAW German laws: (BGR 128/ DGUV 101-004/ TRGS 524) that all areas are free of chromate dust (this includes floors, walls , ceilings, stairwells, basement, mezzanine, etc.)
h. Contractor is responsible for disposal of all hazardous material detected during the cleanup and must provide documentation of proper disposal.
