Hauling and Processing of Scrap Tires for Spring Clean-Up 2013
The County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the Hauling and Processing of Scrap Tires for Spring Clean-Up 2013.
Beginning in the spring of 2013, the City again will be funding for the hauling and processing of
Scrap Tires from participating Neighborhood Associations in conjunction with the Spring
Clean Up Program. The 2013 Program will be very similar to that of 2012. Depending upon the
availability and costs of contractor equipment, the Public Works Department will be coordinating the effort with the following goals:
· 1 designated Scrap Tire collection site per Saturday over 6weeks
· Begin collection events at 9:00 AM
· Tire hauler/processor for scrap tires at that select site for each collection day
· Place all equipment necessary to remove all Scrap Tires from select site each collection day
· Haulers submit to the City a copy of scale tickets with collection site location noted
