DLA Aviation - Richmond, Virginia, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for NSN 1680-01-106-2214, Harness, Aircraft Safety. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the acquisition strategy of this procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413.
DLA Aviation intends to award a sole source long-term contract with one, one-year base period and four, one-year option periods to Meggitt Safety Systems.
Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than April 3, 2017.
This is a Sources Sought to determine the availability and technical capability of small businesses (including the following subsets, HUBZone Small Business concerns; Certified 8(a) Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns, Woman-Owned Small Business concerns) to provide the required products and/or services.
