Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about February 13, 2015.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Contract work includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to restore existing roads' drainage features prior to excessive winter weather. This work includes constructing rolling dips, grading roads, cleaning ditches, reconditioning, repairing and cleaning existing drainage structures, installing new drop inlet covers and installing flared end sections on existing culverts.

PROJECT LOCATION
The project sites are located along Forest Service roads within the Happy Camp Complex Fire perimeter which are on the Scott River Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest. The Project Roads are primarily located in Scott Bar Area off of Scott River Road approximately 3 miles south of Highway 96 and 30 miles west of Fort Jones, California. Refer to project location map for project roads and their locations.

Estimated Price Range: $250,000 - $500,000

Contract Time: Contract time for the base is 70 calendar days an additional six days for option #1 and 14 days for option #2 if awarded. Estimated notice to proceed date on or around April 15, 2015.

Bonds: A Bid guarantee is required with the offer. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award.

Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than 4:30 p.m. PDT on date indicated on solicitation.

SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
