This is a Request for Information and Sources Sought Notice for Market Research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.
The United States Property & Fiscal Office (USPFO) for Connecticut is seeking information regarding capability and availability of potential small business sources to Refinish Two Aviation Hangar Floors of a Connecticut Army National Guard facility, for the 1109th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group(TASMG), located in GROTON, CT. Period of Performance is for 2 months beginning June 2019.
The work shall include removal of existing floor finishes as noted, preparation of floor surfaces for new finishes, furnishing and applying coats of proposed epoxy/silica floor finishes for approximately 55,500 SQ FT of a concrete floor, in accordance with the product manufacturers printed application instructions. Total floor preparation and coating application, including sealants and caulking, shall be performed in one continuous phase.


The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary based on the functions that are required at the CTARNG location.


The USPFO for Connecticut is seeking qualified Small Business (SB) Community Members [Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Section 8(a), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone Small Business, Small Business (SB) led teams, Small Business Partnerships and or Small Business Joint Ventures] that qualify under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes: 238330, Access Flooring Installation; 541310 Architectural Services.


This Request for Information and Sources Sought Notice is part of Market Research. Your responses are sought to identify potential sources that have the knowledge, skill, equipment, experience and past performance necessary to perform the services described in this sources sought.


All interested, responsive and responsible contractors are encouraged to participate in this Market Research by submitting a response via e-mail to Philip Orzech, Contract Specialist at philip.j.orzech.mil@mail.mil no later than 8:00 AM EST March 22, 2019.


Responses should include the company name, address, contact name and title, phone number, e-mail address, business size and classification/certification under one of the NAICS Codes listed above, Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Dun & Bradstreet (D-U-N-S) Number, and a list of your company's three (3) most recent contracts/projects of the same type described in this notice, if applicable. Please limit responses to four (4) pages or less.


This notice does not constitute a request for a formal proposal. This notice is provided as information to the market place and is an invitation for an expression of interest and brief demonstration of qualifications to perform and deliver the anticipated requirement. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information.
