Hand Held and Mobile Radios
The County Procurement & Contracts Division is requesting bids for the purchase
of hand held and mobile radios. Detailed radio specifications are in the Quotation Schedule listed on
pages eleven (11) through fifteen (15) and consists of two Categories. Category I is Bendix King DPHX
5102 CMD or equivalent meaning any brand can be quoted. Category II is Kenwood TK5710 or
equivalent, meaning any brand can be bid. Purchases will be made on a “one time” basis. For bidding
purposes the County plans to purchase approximately 40 total radios between the two
categories, please see quotation schedules for estimated quantities for each category. Quantities
indicated on the quotation schedule are an estimated usage only; the County makes no guarantee as to
the total amount to be purchased during the awarded period.
