Hahn Street Area RFP
The City of Elmhurst is pleased to announce that a Request for Proposals (RFP) is now available for an area of land in Downtown Elmhurst in the recently established North York TIF District, known as the "Hahn Street Area." The City is seeking proposals from qualified Applicants for the purchase and redevelopment of this Hahn Street Area. The project represents an extraordinary opportunity in Downtown Elmhurst, with a combination of parcels totaling approximately 2.77 acres, and over 370 feet of York Street frontage.
Given the Hahn Street Area's prominent location within Elmhurst's highly successful Downtown, the City considers this project to be of utmost importance. The RFP submittal and selection process is intended to identify an applicant team with qualifications, design concepts, and economic plans acceptable to the City. For the Hahn Street Area, the City seeks a mixed use, destination oriented project that includes a public parking deck, retail, and public open space.
All Proposals must be submitted to the Administration Office by 5:00 p.m. (local time) Monday, August 12, 2013.
