This is a combined solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is included.
Solicitation number FA4897-17-Q-0027 is solicited as a request for quotation (RFQ). Please see attached RFQ documents.
The requirement is for a replacement of HVAC system for Bldg 3016 at Mountain Home AFB in accordance with the attached statement of Work (SOW).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005 - 95, DFARS Publication Notice 20161222, and Air Force Federal Acquisition Circular 2017-0127.
This requirement is not priority rated under Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS).
Quotes are due to 1Lt Kevin Hinman, kevin.hinman@us.af.mil, 208-828-3128, at the date and time specified.
EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD:
The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to
the responsible quoter whose quote is the lowest price and meets the requirement. Evaluation of
price will be based on the quoter's total price for all line items as delivered to the specified
destination. Past Performance is not an evaluation factor for this acquisition.


The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes:
1. Price (all line items shall be priced and a total price will be provided).


The quoter's initial quote shall contain the quoter's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. The government intends to evaluate quotes and award a contract without correspondence, but reserves the right to correspond with contractors if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The government reserves the right to make no award as a result of this solicitation.


SITE VISIT INFORMATION:
A site visit will be conducted on 21 August 2017 at 1300. Ensure you complete the attached site
visit form (Attachment #3) and submit it to kevin.hinman@us.af.mil no later than 1:00pm MST
on 18 August 2017 for all personnel who will be attending the site visit.


The meeting location will be at Bldg 3016 at Mountain Home AFB. We suggest you show up
within 30 - 45 minutes early to the Visitor's center to be signed onto the base. Visitors will then
be escorted to buildings 3016 to conduct the site visit.



Any questions during the site visit must be asked in front of the entire group. Any questions as a
result of this site visit must be submitted in writing to kevin.hinman@us.af.mil no later than
1:00pm MST 23 August 2017. No changes to this solicitation will result from the site visit unless
solicitation is amended in writing. Official answers to any questions will be posted by
amendment to this solicitation only.
