HVAC Modification Project
The project is generally described as complete removal of the existing two-pipe, dual-temperature fan coil units and replacement with a new variable refrigerant flow heat pump system for simultaneous heating and cooling. Work includes providing four (4) systems consisting of multiple indoor ductless DX fan coil units connected to a central roof-mounted heat pump unit with a common refrigerant pipe loop. The systems will serve the Fourth Floor east and west wings of the residence hall. Related work includes demolition, surface repairs, electrical power, unit roof support and controls. All equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary for the installation of the system shall be furnished.
