The City of Boston (the "City"), acting by and through its Director of Human Resources (the "Official"), hereby requests sealed proposals from interested and qualified parties ("Offerors") interested in providing consulting services to the City of Boston.
The successful Offeror (the "Consultant") will conduct a study of the existing classification structures and compensation plans for union and non-union positions within the Auditing Department, Collection Division, and Treasury Division and revise, as appropriate, the existing classification structures and compensation plans based on the results of the study.
As part of this study, the successful Offeror will conduct a market survey comparing the City's compensation plans and salary schedules with similarly classified positions in cities of comparable size, population, and economic climate.
All proposals shall be submitted in strict conformance with the Request for Proposal ("RFP") which may be obtained at the Human Resources Department, Room 612, One City Hall Plaza, Boston, MA after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2012.
The City shall accept sealed proposals until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the location specified in the RFP.
