The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region requires work to modify the existing Howard Prairie Dam. Work is located approximately 15 miles east of Ashland, Oregon in Jackson County. Principle features of work include removal and control of water from excavation; excavation of existing dam embankment; furnishing and laying new toe drain pipes; and furnishing and placing zoned earthfill materials to reconstruct dam embankment. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237990 and the size standard is $36.5 million. The Davis-Bacon Act applies to this procurement.

We anticipate issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) approximately 07 June 2017 at www.fbo.gov., but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. To take advantage of business opportunities with the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) and the Department of the Interior (DOI) you must register your firm with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.

Reclamation intends to award one firm fixed-price contract. The magnitude of this project is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This requirement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside.
