HOSPITAL BED TRACKING SYSTEM
The County is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to provide a HOSPITAL BED TRACKING
SYSTEM. The proposed system must contain the following:
System Functionality
3.1.1. An automated bed turnover process.
3.1.2. Provide IVR capability to automate bed turnover process through telephone keypad, simplistic
key code combinations for room cleaning, etc.
3.1.3. Provide dispatching capability for housekeeping personnel using non-alphanumeric paging. It is
desirable to also have text messaging and alphanumeric paging capability.
3.1.4. Provide performance monitoring and real time alerting for the non-compliance and late start
issues. The capability to setup email, paging, or text message alerts to supervision is highly desirable.
3.1.5. Interface with Siemens/Invision and Siemens/Soarian Systems using an ADT (HL7) interface. The
Admitting, discharging, and transferring of patients will be tracked to help expedite patient flow and admissions
by providing real time bed status through online monitoring.
3.1.6. Provide reporting for Patient Flow, efficiency, etc. Query and Reporting tools are highly desirable.
