This is an oral solicitation to obtain quotes using FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This acquisition is a total small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 337214 with a small business size standard in number of employees of 1,000.
In addition to the requirements of the Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisitions provision, the contractor shall complete the attached Quote Sheet with pricing information, and must specify if their product meets the specifications, or not.
Award will be based upon Best Value taking into consideration technical capability (ability to meet the requirements of the Statement of Work)and price. Technical capability is more important than price.
The contractor must also be aware of the requirement to maintain an active SAM.gov registration during the period of performance, and through final payment. In accordance with 31 U.S.C. 3332, electronic funds transfer (EFT) is required for payments and will be included in the resulting purchase order. This is also in accordance to DOI-AAAP-0028 DOI IPP Process.
