Huron-Manistee National Forest Facilities Construction IDIQ

The Huron-Manistee National Forest anticipates an opportunity to provide Facility Construction Services.


The primary purpose of this multiple award Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle is to provide for maintenance and construction of facilities. The secondary purpose will be for demolition or maintenance and repair of non-building structures. . Construction work will include alteration, modification, and new building construction. Facilities Service work will be non-invasive maintenance, repair, and like kind one for one replacement of building items or systems, also included under service regulations will be design portions of design-build task orders. Work may be performed at any location within the Huron-Manistee National Forests. Work includes general building and directly associated site work on Forest Service sites and lands throughout the Region.


The Forest Service anticipates award of up to four (4) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity basic contracts for a period not to exceed five years, with a maximum cumulative total of $5,000,000.00. Individual task orders will be issued against a contract as program needs arise. The yearly task order totals may not necessarily be divided evenly among the awardees. The government guarantees to purchase a minimum of $3,000.00 in services for the contract period. During the period specified the Government shall place task orders totaling a minimum of $3,000.00, but not in excess of $250,000.00 per individual task order. This solicitation is being set aside for Small Businesses under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220. The Small Business Administration size standard is $36.5 million.


Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the project on time and on schedule.
