The goal of this project is to assess the spectrum of lung disease among workers exposed to flavoring chemicals. This will be done by performing lung testing and HRCTs on participants from a previously investigated flavoring plant and microwave popcorn plant. A secondary objective is to study the natural history of lung disease among the microwave popcorn workers that were studied between 2000 and 2003. Additionally, we will collect blood from study participants to test for biomarkers of lung damage or inflammation.
