Requirement: This project includes, but is not limited to, residing and painting of the exterior, reconfiguration and installation of attic and soffit vents, replacement of two storm damaged doors, reinstallation of HVAC system, installation of two government furnished water heaters, installation and finishing of drywall, demolition and replacement of the electrical wiring, replacement of building lighting, removal of existing carpet and vinyl sheet flooring and replacing with vinyl plank flooring.

The project is located on the Hat Creek Work Center (Shasta County) in the Lassen National Forest at; 17696 Highway 89, Hat Creek California 96040

Estimated Magnitude (Price Range):  Between $100,000 and $250,000

Contract Time:  It is estimated the project will start around August 13, 2018 and be completed within 210 calendar days.

Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236118.  The related small business size standard is $36.5 million.

Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is on or about June 28, 2018.

Site Visit/Pre-proposal Conference:  An organized site visit is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday July 17 2018 at 0900at the Hat Creek Work Center.  As this is only a tentative date please see solicitation for actual date.

Bonds: A Bid guarantee is not required with the offer. A Payment and/or Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award.

Inquiries: Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their bids.  Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding.  In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
