Gymnasium ADA Shower & Restroom Renovation

Project Duration: Sixty (60) Calendar Days
Work includes furnishing labor and materials necessary to renovate a portion of the Women's Locker Room into a unisex shower room located at the Gymnasium Building at San Francisco State University. Work will occur near occupied locker room and classrooms, utility services cannot be disrupted and noise restrictions apply. Work consists of demolition, concrete saw cutting and core drilling, drywall, doors, hardware, flooring, roofing, ceramic tiles, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and Simplex Grinnell fire alarm in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Will Revilock of WSR Architects, 70 Woodland Street, Suite A, San Francisco, CA 94117, telephone #: (415) 681-6504. Estimated construction cost is $80,000.00. Liquidated damage shall be assessed at $400.00 for each calendar day that project completion is delayed beyond the time prescribed.
A mandatory pre-bid site inspection has been scheduled for March 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Interested parties arriving late fifteen (15) minutes or more will not be permitted to bid. Bidders will assemble at the Training Room # A101 located at Corporation Yard (on North State Drive) at San Francisco State University, 1600 Holloway Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94132.

Bid documents will be available on or after March 14, 2011. Sealed bids are due before 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 29th at the Office of Capital Planning, Design and Construction, Conference Room #202 in the Corporation Yard (on North State Drive) at San Francisco State University, 1600 Holloway Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94132 -or- they will be disregarded. It is the bidder's responsibility to insure their bid is received prior to the bid submittal deadlinea the University assumes no responsibility for bids delivered late by the U.S. Postal Service of by any other means of delivery. A 10% bidders' security in the form of a certified, cashier's check or bond is required with each bid.
