Roof Assessment
The purpose of this requirement is assess facility roofs on Mountain Home AFB. The total roof area is approximately 1.1 million square feet.
Roof types vary from metal roofs, built-up roofs, shingle, and ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM) roofs. The Contractor shall inspect buildings ranging in height from 8 feet to 80 feet above adjacent grade. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, development support, safety equipment and access equipment required to create/update roof inventory for existing conditions, survey roofs and input current condition data and global position data into a roof management program. The Contractor will use the roof survey data for all roofs included in this SOW to develop a RAMP including priorities for maintenance, repair and roof replacement along with recommendations and budgets to assure maximum roof service life for all roof systems.
Site visit will be held 23 August 2018 at 0900. The period of performance is 75 calendar days. This requirement will be a 100% set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 238160 (Roofing Contractors) , which has a small business size standard of $15M. The magnitude of this project is between $100K and $250K. Prospective bidders must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
