Gun Coating for Mortar Cannons
The Government is procuring a high temperature gun coating for use on mortar cannons, constructed of Inconel 718 alloy, already fielded to using units. The coating will be applied over an existing nickel boron coating. The coating shall be capable of being applied in a maintenance facility setting using standard High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) spray guns. The application method shall not require shipping the cannons to the contractor's facility for application.
