Guldmann Patient Slings VA Loma Linda
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes under solicitation number: VA262-14-Q-1001.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHS) has a requirement for Repositioning Patient Slings to be used with current Guldmann Lifts installed in the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. These slings shall be used to reposition immobile patients in their beds or relocate them into a wheelchair. The patient lift slings must have a weight capacity of 600 lbs., be made of breathable material, and be disposable. Also, the slings must be 42 inches wide and 66 inches tall.
The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 12, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334113, size standard 500 employees. This is a 100% total small business set-aside. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price Purchase Order. Due to time constraints, responses to the solicitation shall be due on Thursday July 3, 2014, 3 2014 at 2:00PM PST.
